After installing the new catheter into the cylinder head, use the reamer to adjust the roundness of conduit and the size of inner bore, make the gap between the conduit hole and the valve rod conforms to the diesel gen set specification. There is no need to process the valve stem which has finished machining. During the usage process, the gap between the conduit hole and the valve stem shall not exceed the wear limit in the diesel gen set specification. Generally speaking, if the gap between valve rod and conduit is 0.13 mm (the stem diameter of valve equals to or less than?8 mm) or 0.16 mm (the stem diameter of valve is greater than?8 mm), it is necessary to replace the valve or conduit, otherwise early damage will cause to the valve.
2, Do not mix the package of different valves, for the same series valve on different models of diesel gen sets may differ.
3, As for the valve seat deformed or burned, adjust it by reaming and grinding. Do not only recover them by valve facing up. Replace the unrepaired valve seat, the mouth of replaced valve seat should be co-axial with the conduit hole. The admissible error of the coaxiality should be within 0.03 mm. When installing the valve into the valve seat, the deflection between valve and cylinder head should conform to the gen set specification.

Face up the valve and valve seat gently. To guarantee the sealing of the valve, do not use coarse grinding materials. The contact parts between the valve seat and valve cone should be located in or below the valve cone part. Valve and seat ring must be sealed, if not closely sealed, it will lead to the power decrease of gen set and early damage to the valve.

5. After grinding, use the kerosene to clean abrasive material, then use clean engine oil to lubricate valve rod and conduit.
